“And at last I see the light
And it’s like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it’s like the sky is new
And it’s warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything looks different
Now that I see you”

UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES VISAYAS, MIAGAO, ILOILO PROVINCE, PHILIPPINES
MAY 24, 2013
The Inaugural Light of Peace Event is the first annual and international event of its kind to be held in the Philippines. If universal inner peace can be achieved then there would be no major conflicts since most conflicts can be traced from a lack of inner peace of the individual.
Since I arrived at Plaza Athenee Bangkok around 1:15 in the morning, I wasn’t able to sleep well as my mind was on a hyper mode. I was just tossing and turning until the alarm went off at 5:30AM. I got out of bed to prepare for the day’s adventure, and then woke my sister since she’ll be having training at 8AM, only to be told that it was only 4:30 in the morning. Arghh! I was so excited that I forgot to set my watch in local time, which is an hour behind Philippine time. So, instead of going back to bed to toss and turn, I went online instead to check CS for any happenings in the area.
