Yeng Constantino’s Blogger/Chat Event

Posted by AudreyRose under Events

I was invited by Yehey.com for the Yeng Constantino’s Blogger Meet & Greet. I wasn’t sure if I could attend the event but my friend Monique reminded me about it and she told me that we should go. So next thing I knew was that I was on my way to ABS-CBN with Monique. Anyways, we had fun meeting Yeng ‘cos she’s so down to earth. She answered all the questions that was asked from her may it be work related or personal one (love life). And Thanks to Star Records and Yehey.com for organizing it and also for the freebies (Yeng’s Journey album from star records, Pins & Planners from Yehey). Until next time. Here’s some photos from the event.

Kalesa

Posted by AudreyRose under Travel

A kalesa (sometimes called a karitela) is a horse-driven calash (carriage) used in the Philippines. The word, also spelled calesa, predates the Spanish conquest and descends ultimately from an Old Church Slavonic word meaning “wheels.” This was one of the modes of transportation introduced in the Philippines in the 18th century by the Spaniards that only nobles and high ranked officials could afford. They are rarely used in the streets nowadays except in tourist spots and some rural areas. (Source: Wikipedia)

The Bistro

Posted by AudreyRose under food

Earlier I was in Galleria with my sister to meet the daughter of our mom’s friend. Well, she’ll be going to the US this evening so my mom wants us to send her a Le Chic slippers and a Jose Mari Chan CD. After we hand it to her, we decided to have lunch and we have a hard time thinking where to eat. Then a poster caught our attention ‘coz the photos of their Passion Specials look delicious. We even thought that it’s a new and expensive restaurant but guess what restaurant it was? It was the new Pizza Hut Bistro.
