Caretela
This is a Carabao-drawn Caretela
Caretela is a horse-drawn carriage used as a mode of transportation in the Philippines up till the ’60. Now a days you can only see a Caretela in the Walled City or Intramuros, and in the province (like Vigan, Ilocos, Naga, etc). You can also see a Caretela that uses Carabao (Water Buffalo) instead of a horse in some part of the Country for some small time farmers still used this in their work.
