Bo’s Coffee Passion
Today, I attended the Bo’s Coffee @ Bonifacio High Street Blogger event, and I must say that it was a fun filled event even though few bloggers attended due to a bad weather. Well, before the event started, hot mocha espresso was served and we had a photo op while the President and CEO of Bo’s Coffee Club Mr. Steve Benitez roasted some coffee beans. Around 10:00 AM Mr. Benitez Welcomed us and told us the story behind the company.

The Invites.
After the talk, we had a ‘make your own coffee’ activity, where we had to come up with our very own original and creative drink. Since there were only 6 bloggers in the event, we were group in two’s and then we were given a checklist for our ingredients, base, syrup and sauce. I was paired with Abbie of pinoycentric in this activity and we were just laughing ‘coz even though we love to drink coffee, it’s our first time to make one and we don’t even have an idea on what to mix and blend. But you know what’s the hardest part of this activity is? Coming up with a catchy and creative name for it.

Bo’s Coffee Club Coffee Beans
Well, Zee’s group were the first one to make their coffee, unfortunately I didn’t get their coffee’s name and didn’t have a chance to taste it ‘coz me and Abbie were the next pair to be the barista for a few minutes. We named our ice-blended coffee “Sinful Koficcino” for we want it to be really sweet and chocolaty. So, of course it is full of sweets, chocolates, chocolates and more chocolates. And since I love hazelnuts, we decided to make it a dominant taste in the drink, as well, as the chocolate. After us, were the Amazing Byahilo coffee (hot coffee) by Eric and Arpee, we didn’t have a chance to taste this as well.

Roasting the beans
Anyways, guess whose drink won in this activity? It was our drink the SINFUL KOFICCINO. Hahaha.. We didn’t expect it ‘coz the other groups were really into it, seriously planning on what are the best ingredient, syrup and sauce, while we were having a hard time thinking of a catchy name.
Well, if you want to try the coffee we made, you can visit Bo’s Coffee Club at Bonifacio High Street and order SINFUL Koficcino for it will be featured there for a month. Well, I’m not yet sure if it will be featured for the month November. I’ll just update you guys on this. After that Amazing Byahilo and the other coffee will be featured for a week.
