4,000 Baguio weekend tourists still find the city charming and peaceful
The more than 4,000 visitors in this mountain resort in the recent observance of All Saints Day still found old charms and peace in Baguio as the “Summer Capital of the Philippines”, according to the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO).
Public information officer of BCPO, PO3 Virgilio Hidalgo, said that even with swollen crowd at the cemeteries and downtown Baguio Saturday and Sunday, “the policemen and civilian volunteers were able to maintain orderly traffic flow, ward-off possible petty criminals, guard abandoned homes and give first-time visitors due assistance.”
He said the heightened security alert of the office resulted to the arrest of three suspects in an attempted robbery of a local pawnshop.
“Our observance of the All Saints Day was very peaceful and orderly. The policemen and support groups have to do their jobs well to support our main industry which is tourism.
“Now that the vehicles volume is back to normal, we still do our job to make traffic flow orderly because our transient students and workers are now returning to their work or respective provinces,” he said.(PNA)

Baguio yeah! I remember living there when I was around 3-4 and riding the horses. I rode a white one.
And Bonham park! I really relate =)
