Sinulog Festival 2009 Schedule
Get ready and be prepared for the Sinulog Festival 2009, one of the country’s biggest and grandest festival, is once again set to unfold soon! The said festival is celebrated for nine days in honor of Sto. Nino which entails two major activities – a religious procession on a Saturday and the grand street parade,where dancers garbed in their most colorful costumes carrying a Santo Nino, is held the following day.
Sinulog Festival 2009 is just around the corner and I know everyone is excited to witness it for this year the festival promises to be bigger and better than the previous year. So, get ready and be prepared to celebrate with the people of Cebu and chant “Viva Pit Senor”. Below is the schedule of activities for the event.

1:00 PM – Parade of Participants (from the Cebu Provincial Capitol to the Cebu City Sports Center)
2:00 PM – Event Proper: Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan (Cebu City Sports Center)
4:30 PM – Awarding of Winners (Cebu City Sports Center)
7:00 PM – Cultural Show by the Department of Education, Cebu Province (Fuente Osmeña)
9:30 PM – Concert by Street Party Bands (Fuente Osmeña)

This is one of the festivals that I’ve been wanting to see in person. Kaya lang wala pang budget. But someday I’ll be there.
