Greenhills Christmas on Display (COD)

Last Friday, Novermber 14,2008, Christmas has officially started in the City of San Juan with the opening of the traditional “Christmas on Display” (COD) at Greenhills shopping complex.
This tradition started 51 years ago as part of the marketing strategy of the COD Department Store. And it became one of the most notable Christmas show in Metro Manila.
This years COD display adopts an environmental theme and it’s the first time that the automatons has their own dialogue. Before it was just lights and sounds show and the story being narrated. But the management is making it big and better this time.
The show runs for 15 minutes and it starts at 6pm to 11pm daily. So what are you waiting for? Go and visit Greenhills Shopping Center and watch the COD Christmas Display.

Aside from the COD display you could also buy things in the Greenhills Night Market.

Nurse JenDoll, maybe you already saw the COD nong bata ka pa. It used to be on display sa COD department store in Cubao, but when the store closed down, greenhills shopping center yong nagpatuloy ng show.

I like Greenhills are, it is cleaner than other component cities of Manila (aside from central business area of Makati of course)…
I see this lighting of lights as another good move to make the place even more salable, just look at there, i have seen that there is a night market? Ganda ah!

to the writer of this blog,, COD doesn’t mean christmas on display,, COD is the company’s name (the one who makes the display),, which means Cash on delivery,, that’s were the company got their name,, because before they opened up a department store,, they just did the “cash on delivery” concept ^_^
hope you watch the display this year
