Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2009 Schedule
“Viva Señor Santo Niño!”
Be ready for the Philippines’ top tourism event, the Iloilo Dinagyang Festival, is just a month away. The said festival is an annual event held to commemorate the birth of Christianity in the area and to Honor the Holy Child Jesus, Santo Niño. There are various activities lined up for the festival from December up to the 4th week of January when the 2 major activity is held, the Kasadyahan competition and the Dinagyang Contest.
Hailed as the country’s best tourism event for three consecutive years by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines, Dinagyang festival 2009 promises to be bigger, grander and more colourful than the previous years. So, get ready and be prepared to celebrate with the Ilonggo’s and chant “Viva Señor Santo Niño!”.

hello to all…dami naman activities naka line-up. hope i could be there. it seems fun is on its way!….well, actually naka post na sa LRT stations poster ng Dinagyang, in fairness panalo talaga ang festival ng Iloilo. Pang-world class na!….go!go!go!..tulungan nating iangat ang turismo sa Pilipinas…
