Lagawan Supports Earth Hour 2009

Let’s make a difference. Let’s join Earth Hour 2009.
It all started in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for an hour. A year later the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people across 71 countries switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.
So, let’s make a difference this 28 of March at 8:30PM. Join the Earth Hour campaign by turning off your household/office lights and non-essential electrical appliances for an hour. Let’s join hand in hand with people across 80 countries and territories in creating a vital conversation about the future of our precious planet. Earth Hour is a message of hope and a message of action.
For more information about Earth Hour, visit the official Earth Hour Website, sign up and join millions of people in more than 1,400 cities and towns world wide by turning off your lights for one hour at 8:30pm on Saturday 28 March.

Thanks for promoting Earth Hour! Another way you can recruit people to the cause is by creating a Earth Hour group on Commit21.com. Simply create a group about one action that you will commit to do for Earth Hour and recruit your friends, family, and co-workers to get involved in that action as well. When it comes to climate change, simple actions can make huge differences and Commit21 leverages social media to influence networks of friends, family, and co-workers. Check it out at http://www.commit21.com/
