How to Go to Isla de Gigantes, Carles
Going to Isla de Gigantes, Carles is as easy as 1, 2, 3 but a bit tiring, esp. if you’re not used in traveling. Going there would take around 4 and a half to 6 hours travel time from Iloilo or 3 and a half hours from Roxas City.
Anyways, all one should do is ride a Ceres Bus for Php 152 from Tagbak Terminal in Iloilo bound to Estancia. At the Ceres Terminal in Estancia ride a tricycle going to the port for Php10. Then ask around the port for the boat going to Isla de Gigantes for Php80. But you have to be specific where you want to go in Isla de Gigantes since there’s a north and south island and no boat trip available between the two. If ever you find yourself in this situation, don’t worry you can hire a fisherman’s boat to take you to the other island but it’s a bit expensive since it’s around Php800 and up depending on the size of the boat and of course your haggling skills.
And that’s it! So easy, right? Enjoy and have fun at Isla de Gigantes.

i cant get a hold of joel…. is there another number? is the inn at the north or south side of the island? would you know the schedules of the ferries that go to gigantes from estancia or carles? how much for the island hopping? the room accom? with ac? bed? bathroom?
is it better to stay there or in estancia or carles then do a day trip there? the boats kasi are so expensive…. 5k to and fro for 2 pax….. were going in march. sana you can help. thanks!

Hi Vicky sorry for the late reply. anyways, they only have one number. The Inn is in the north side of the island. The ferry schedule from Estancia is at 2PM only, so you better be at the port around 1PM. Island hopping rates starts from 1,500 to 3,000. room accom is php200 per person/night(fan room/no electricity in the island).
