One fine day at Pataan Mountain Resort

Tuesday, 9 August 2011, 22:25 | Category : Accommodation, Road Trip, Travel

It’s rainy season but when Mr. Sun decided to show up, we decided to visit one of Bago City’s promising Resort, the Pataan Mountain Resort.

Pataan Mountain Resort

Pataan Mountain Resort is located at Sitio Pata-an, Brgy. Mailum, Bago City. The mountain resort is owned by a retired policeman and has been operating for 10 years. Sadly, I only heard of the mountain resort 2 or 3 years ago and was able to visit it only last year.

Thursday, 14 July 2011, 13:19 | Category : Philippines, Road Trip, Travel

When I went to Subic Bay last summer, I made sure that I dropped by at the old Spanish gate along the freeport area. The gate was constructed in the year 1885 and was one of the entrance to the original Spanish Naval Station.

Last month, we went to Subic Tree Top Adventure for an extreme one-of-a-kind experience to end the summer vacation. The park really lives up to it hands down. And the best part, it is nestled at the lush, virgin forest of Subic.

Spending a Day in Club Manila East

Friday, 27 May 2011, 15:18 | Category : Road Trip

(Sorry for the  late post…)

I was channel hopping last Friday (May 6) when I heard the weather forecast – a storm is brewing. I was like “What the ….? A storm in the middle of summer?” Well, it’s freaking hot so I can’t seem to get what they were reporting and I didn’t mind it. Until, Saturday evening when all of a sudden the clear night sky turned gloomy and it started to rain hard. I called my friend right away to ask if we are still set for our outing the next day and she told me that we will have to cancel it if it keeps on raining the next morning. So I was wishing, hoping and keeping my fingers cross for the rain to stop.

Staying Connected with Your Loved Ones Here & Abroad

Tuesday, 10 May 2011, 16:14 | Category : etc, SPR

One thing I’ve noticed every time I was out of the country is the need to communicate constantly with my sister, my Mom and my aunt. Whether I am on a vacation or on a business trip I need to make sure that I let the people back at home know of my current location or if I’m doing well so that they won’t worry. Thanks to the latest technology, they are just one message or one call away.
