
CORON, Palawan Oct. 28 (PNA) — Mayor Edward Hagedorn has expressed his readiness to go full blast with their tourism promotion with the completion of some major tourism facilities that will accommodate overwhelming influx of tourists in the city.
”We are now ready for massive tourism promotion with these massive construction of hotels, Sabang road near completion and ongoing expansion and rehabilitation of our airport,” he said in an interview by PNA.
Hagedorn said previously, he refused to attend any tourism convention abroad so he could entice more foreign and local visitors, but the city has inadequate hotel rooms to accommodate them.

But not only do they offer shrimps but now that they are celebrating their 1st year anniversary they are offering new and exciting dishes! That we got to taste. What could I say? All this exciting new dishes are so scrumptious.
MANILA, Oct. 21 (PNA) - The airline of the Gokongweis’ Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading domestic airline, has allocated more than 500,000 “Go Lite” seats at Php500 for its first quarter of this year for its domestic and international seat sale.
The one-way domestic “Go Lite” seat sale fare is at Php500 “all-in.”
Meanwhile, the Php500 one-way international “Go Lite” seat sale fare is exclusive of applicable taxes and surcharges. Fuel and insurance surcharge range from US$ 25 to US$ 110 per way.
The sale period starts from October 22-27, 2008 and is valid for travel from January 5-March 18, 2009.
Passengers with check-in baggage will add Php200 only. Promo fare is non-refundable.

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Oct. 21 (PNA) — The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP), home of the longest navigable subterranean river, has remained solid in the No. 1 spot for five consecutive weeks in the ongoing search for the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
From Sept. 22 to Oct. 20, the world renowned “Underground River” still occupied the topped position in the live ranking on the search new nature wonders.
Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Qu?ng Ninh province, Vietnam followed in second place, while Cox’s Bazar, a bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes in Bangladesh settled in third sport.
Meanwhile, the Chocolate Hills in Bohol currently on the fourth and Palawan’s Tubbataha Reef, which has been designated by the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Heritage Site is on the fifth spot.

The oval-shaped island province of Bohol has been recently named as a world-class destination in Central Visayas because of its pristine beaches, majestic sunset, hidden caves, ancient structures, magnificent mountains, friendly people and “Chocolate Hills.”
Bohol lies southeast of Cebu and southwest of Leyte. The island, characterized by hilly and rolling terrain, has around 167 mountains, 73 islets. The provincial government was created by Republic Act 2711 on March 10, 1917. It was the site of two revolts against the Spanish colonial government-Tamblot Rebellion (1621) and the Dagohoy Revolt (1744-1829).
